In STREAM, the narrative feeds from memories, hopes and worries around climate change in the area, gathered through conversation with the delta's locals and processed through LLMs. A conversation between the natural community, AI and ourselves to present, in a decontextualized manner, the blurry limits between nature’s hyperrealism and the surrealism of digital intervention.

The installation consists of a projection on a white smooth surface on the floor, making the audience engage with the artpiece in the same manner they would glance at the river: looking downwards. STREAM is a 2 minute loop in which water guides you through its different states in the delta ecosystem, navigating different scenarios between the hyperreal and the surreal, dipping into a composite of different memories, fears and bonds around the media that characterises the beautiful biodiversity hub.

The exhibition was complemented with open workshops in both settings. In Delta de L'Ebre, we did a one-session workshop oriented to children named "AI Lab: creating new species". Local teens and children learnt about AI tools, ecology and evolutionary biology by engaging in a speculative exercise on the creation of new species of the future Delta ecosystem. In Vic, we organized a two-session workshop with local adults aimed at understanding the inner workings of AI tools, their controversies and how to use for historical memory purposes.
